One Health Hackathon.

The One Health Hackathon (October 23 – 26, 2020) is an online global health innovation event. We are targeting high school students, but registration is open to students of all education levels from around the world. Participating teams will be assigned to one of 4 diseases (influenza, malaria, COVID-19, or Ebola), for which they will have 4 days to come up with an action plan. Solutions can come in whatever form they want, including policy platforms, business pitches, tech prototypes, and more.

WHY ATTEND?

1. Opportunity to work directly with leading global health experts, who will provide one-on-one feedback sessions to all teams throughout the hackathon. These mentors come from 9 different countries, including the former dean of the Harvard School of Public Health, the CEO of Metabiota, and more.

2. Meet peers from around the world! We currently have students from 11 different countries signed up, including Canada, the US, Nigeria, Tanzania, the UK, South Africa, Kosovo, Greece, Peru, Armenia, and Bhutan.

3. Win $2800+ in prizes! The winning and runner-up teams in all 4 categories will be mailed a prize pack including Merge VR headsets for all team members.

Sign up in teams of 2-4 or individually; participation is completely free of charge, and the deadline to sign up is Friday, October 9.
